[:es]MANTENTE EN FORMA TAMBIÉN EN NAVIDAD[:en]BE FIT AT CHRISTMAS TOO![:]

NOTICIAS

[:en]Christmas is coming and with them culinary excesses have arrived: business lunches and dinners, with friends, as a family… During these days it is easy for us to get a bit crazy and the excesses to bring some extra weight at the end of the holidays.

In addition, at this time many schools of padel send on holiday their students, so that excess food can be added to a reduction in physical activity that can worsen the situation.

For that reason, today we want to propose different tricks to prevent us on Christmas from taking its toll on our metabolism.

DO EXERCISE

Holidays of our lessons, of our usual companions in the parties or even our own trips, can cause a change in our routine. But this does not mean that we can not do sports during the holidays too!

If you have traveled to a new city, a good way to know your destination can be to go running through its streets, or walking with your family.

CHANGE OF ROUTINE

The holidays are a perfect excuse to achieve it!

The body is intelligent and ends up adapting to everything, including your exercise routine. Therefore, Christmas can be a good time to perform other types of activities that pose a new challenge for our body, preventing it from «becoming lazy».

REST WELL

Our body needs to recover from the effort, that is why it is important that we allow it to rest. In our day to day, it is not always possible to take the necessary rest, but vacations can be the perfect time to disconnect and allow our body more time to rest after exercising.

One day between training sessions is usually enough time for the body to recover.

BREAKFAST ALWAYS!

Although you have eaten large amounts of food the night before, by the time you get up you will have spent many hours fasting. If you do not eat breakfast, the body will perceive lack of food and will enter into «saving mode» so it will slow down the metabolism and optimize your resources to prepare.

This happens the same with dinners, it is important to eat something before going to sleep, although at noon we had a copious meal.

With these tricks, we will reduce the effects of these holidays on our metabolism.

Happy holidays and #livethepadel at Christmas too!
