Hoy es el turno de viajar hasta la capital de los Países Bajos, Ámsterdam, que albergó de forma sobresaliente la séptima cita del IPE by Madison 2016. Así fue la crónica final:
Jornada final del Amsterdam Open en un Play Padel Club de Ámsterdam que se engalanó para vivir por segundo año consecutivo una cita del International Padel Experience by Madison, patrocinado por Estrella Damm.
Los presentes fueron testigos de la victoria en la máxima categoría masculina de la pareja compuesta por VdVaart/Windahl, que derrocharon un gran nivel e impusieron su alta técnica de juego para hacerse con la victoria sin ni siquiera ceder un set en todo el campeonato.
Tras ganar a Jannick/Hermus con un contundente 6-0 y 6-1 en semifinales, VdVaart/Windahl se plantaban en la final dejando claro que si seguían jugando de forma tan compenetrada y seria, se alzarían con el título. Enfrente estarían De Wit/Minneart que habían logrado con méritos su pase a la final tras deshacerse de VdRidder /Mols por un doble 6-4.
El partido decisivo por el premio final no dejó lugar a sorpresas y a pesar de que De Wit/Minneart intentaron aguantar las embestidas de sus adversarios, VdVaart/Windahl impusieron su ley y cerraron el partido con un resultado de 6-3 y 6-2.
En el cuadro femenino, la dupla Ewijk/Vd Hoek se alzó con el título que las acredita como campeonas del Amsterdam Open al derrotar con claridad en la final a Schuttelaar/Vdinteren por un doble 6-3.
Por su parte, la pareja formada por Gómez/Wildschut Perez impuso su ley en la categoría B masculina con un juego astuto demostrando una gran compenetración sobre las pistas holandesas. Esta dupla se alzaba con el título tras derrotar en la final a J. Bakker-Heneweer por un doble 6-4. Fue un partido muy igualado y con puntos interminables que finalmente se decidió por errores mínimos. Los campeones habían logrado su acceso a la final después de ganar a los hermanos Meijer por un igualado resultado de 7-6, 6-2 y 6-4 que desató la euforia del público entusiasta por la magia del pádel.
