[:es]Las pistas del Club Padel Victoria de la ciudad portuaria de Rotterdam han sido testigos de los primeros enfrentamientos del Rotterdam Open, undécima prueba del International Padel Experience by Madison.
El único circuito internacional de pádel amateur arrancaba esta nueva parada de la temporada con un excepcional ambiente, gracias al gran número de personas que se daban cita en las instalaciones del Club Padel Victoria para disfrutar del deporte y la competición. Esta primera jornada ha tenido un importante carácter internacional, con jugadores procedentes de los Países Bajos, España, Italia e incluso Argentina.
Los primeros encuentros del Rotterdam Open comenzaban a las 19:00h de la tarde en una jornada en la que el tiempo acompañaba, haciendo que los jugadores se acercasen varias horas antes para disfrutar de las pistas y de los entrenamientos libres que por primera vez tenían lugar dentro del International Padel Experience by Madison.
Las categorías femenina y mixta abrían el torneo con dos encuentros muy igualados en los que las féminas Truke/Korevaar vencían a la dupla Priester/De Graaf en la pista uno con un resultado de 4-6/2-6. Por su parte las parejas mixtas Ernst/Andriga y De Maeyer/Giardi resolvían su primer encuentro 2-6/2-6 a favor de los últimos.
A continuación, tenían lugar tres partidos que suponían la entrada en la competición de los dos niveles de categoría masculina (begginers y advanced), en los que los jugadores dieron lo mejor de si mismos con el objetivo de estrenarse en el torneo con un triunfo. Las parejas Hahn/Vernier y Goessen/Berkhoudt en beginners y Fernández Gómez/Rowies en advaNced se alzaban con las victorias en sus respectivos encuentros con resultados de 1-6/2-6, 6-2/6-0 y 6-2/6-0 respectivamente.
Con el paso de las horas la confianza de los jugadores iba en aumento y esto se reflejaba en el juego, haciendo de los tres últimos partidos de la jornada los de mayor intensidad. En pista 1, y dentro de la competición masculina advanced, los hermanos Ernt demostraban su ato nivel de juego imponiéndose con facilidad a sus contrincantes Monné/Van Dijk con un resultado de 1-6/0-6.
Al mismo tiempo, la pista dos acaparaba la atención de una gran mayoría de los asistentes con el último partido de categoría femenina de la jornada y uno de los más intensos que se resolvía 7-5/6-3 a favor de la pareja española Martín/Inaraja.
Por último, la pareja hispano-argentina Pascual Santiago/Manuel derrotaba a la dupla Maaskant/Ferrer en un igualadísimo partido que se resolvía en un espectacular tercer set y finalizaba con un resultado de 4-6/6-4/11-8.

[:en]The paddle courts of the Padel Victoria Club in the port city of Rotterdam have witnessed the first matches of the Rotterdam Open, the 11th test of the International Padel Experience by Madison.
The only amateur paddle international circuit kicked off this new stop of the season with an exceptional atmosphere thanks to the large number of people who gathered at the facilities of Club Padel Victoria to enjoy the sport and the competition. This first day has had an important international character, with players from the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and even Argentina.
The first matches of the Rotterdam Open began at 19:00 in the afternoon in a day where the time was accompanied from the beginning, causing the players to come several hours earlier to enjoy the courts.
The female and mixed categories opened the tournament with two matches in which the Truke / Korevaar women beat the pair Priester / De Graaf on court one with a score of 4-6 / 2-6. On the other hand the mixed pairs Ernst / Andriga and De Maeyer / Giardi solved their first encounter 2-6 / 2-6 in favor of the last ones.
Next, there were three games that involved entering the competition of the two men’s levels (begginers and advanced), in which the players gave their best with the goal of premiering in the tournament with a win. The pair Hahn / Vernier and Goessen / Berkhoudt in beginners and Fernández Gómez / Rowies in advanced were victorious in their respective encounters with results of 1-6 / 2-6, 6-2 / 6-0 and 6-2 / 6-0 respectively.
With the passage of the hours the confidence of the players was increasing and this was reflected in the game, making the last three games of the day the most intense. In track 1, and within the advanced masculine competition, the Ernt brothers demonstrated their level playing by easily beating their opponents Monné / Van Dijk with a score of 1-6 / 0-6.
At the same time, track two grabbed the attention of a large majority of attendees with the last match of the women’s category of the day and one of the most intense that was resolved 7-5 / 6-3 in favor of the Spanish couple Martín / Inaraja.
Finally, the Spanish-Argentine couple Pascual Santiago / Manuel defeated the Maaskant / Ferrer pair in a match that was solved in a spectacular third set and ended with a result of 4-6 / 6-4 / 11-8.
