El Andorra Open va a dar comienzo hoy en las pistas del Pádel Serradells. El Principado de Andorra es un enclave idílico para disputar el torneo, por lo que la mezcla de pádel y turismo en el pequeño país no dejará indiferente a nadie. Hemos charlado con Eduard Magrynia, gerente del club donde se disputará la competición y nos ha contado su perspectiva sobre el pádel en Andorra, su club, pasado, presente, futuro…
¿Cómo ha progresado el club desde su nacimiento hasta hoy?
El pádel ha crecido mucho en Andorra desde que empezamos. La ventaja que tiene este deporte es que puede practicarlo todo el mundo, con cualquier edad y no hace falta agrupar mucha gente para poder echar un partido.
¿Cómo ha evolucionado el pádel en vuestro país en los últimos años?
Hubo un crecimiento muy rápido los 4 primeros años y ahora vemos un pequeño estancamiento, pero es normal, al principio todo suele tener un crecimiento muy exponencial, ahora vamos poco a poco.
¿Como trabajáis para expandir el pádel en vuestra ciudad?
Realizando muchos torneos, teniendo siempre campeonatos para que la gente pueda jugar. También difundimos mucho el pádel vía redes sociales, para intentar llegar al mayor número de gente.
¿Por qué decidisteis sumaros al International Padel Experience by Madison?
Por qué nos gustó mucho el planteamiento deportivo del torneo, creo que tiene grandes posibilidades, me gustó mucho el proyecto que me presentaron.
¿Qué es lo que más os gusta de este circuito?
La diversidad de ciudades y países que puedes recorrer. Es increíble poder jugar al pádel en cualquier parte del mundo y poder compartir con gente que disfruta del mismo deporte que tú.
¿Está generando expectación el Open de vuestra ciudad?
Mucha. Como cada año, poco a poco nos vamos consolidando más y más y estamos haciendo del IPE un torneo reconocido en Andorra.
¿Cómo visualizáis el futuro de vuestro club?
Prometedor pero con mucho esfuerzo y trabajo. Mimando a nuestros clientes que son nuestro mayor activo.

The Andorra Open will start today on the slopes of Pádel Serradells. How has the club progressed from birth to today?
The paddle has grown a lot in Andorra since we started. The advantage of this sport is that it can be practiced by everyone, at any age and it is not necessary to group many people in order to play a game.
How has padel evolved in your country in recent years?
There was a very rapid growth in the first 4 years and now we see a small stagnation, but it is normal, at the beginning everything usually has a very exponential growth, now we are going little by little.
How do you work to expand the paddle in your city?
Realizing many tournaments, always having championships so that people can play. We also spread a lot of padel via social networks, to try to reach the largest number of people.
Why did you decide to join the International Padel Experience by Madison?
Why we really liked the sports approach of the tournament, I think it has great possibilities, I really liked the project that was presented to me.
What do you like most about this circuit?
The diversity of cities and countries that you can travel. It’s amazing to be able to play paddle tennis anywhere in the world and be able to share with people who enjoy the same sport as you.
Is the Open in your city generating expectation?
A lot. As every year, little by little we are consolidating more and more and we are making the IPE a recognized tournament in Andorra.
How do you visualize the future of your club?
Promising but with a lot of effort and work. Pampering our customers who are our greatest asset.
