[:es]El Saly Open, primera parada en el continente africano del International Padel Experience by Madison celebraba el sábado 11 de noviembre su segunda jornada.
La caída del sol y consecuente bajada de temperaturas suponía el arranque de esta nueva fiesta del pádel, con la celebración de las semifinales femeninas, además de la entrada a la competición de la categoría masculina, que saltaban a la pista para enfrentarse en octavos y meterse de esta forma en las rondas finales de la competición.
En categoría masculina se definían las parejas que se mantenían en la competición tras imponerse a sus contrincantes en las pistas, ante la mirada de un gran número de aficionados y amigos, que asistían como público y no dudaban en jalear cada punto como si de una bola de partido se tratase.
Por su parte, en categoría femenina tenían lugar las dos semifinales, que una vez más ponían de manifiesto la entrega y las ganas de alcanzar la victoria de las competidoras, que se dejaban la piel por defender cada punto.
La primera pareja en colarse en la final femenina era Ingrid/Jeny, que derrotaba 6-3/6-1 a Elo/Stephan en un encuentro cuyo resultado no hace justicia al igualado juego que se vio en la pista.
Tras ellas, eran Gwen/Melani las que derrotaban a Sylvie/Severine y firmaban un resultado de 6-4/6-1 en el último partido de la jornada.
Esta segunda jornada coincidía con un día muy especial para el Club Padel Saly y para el deporte de la pala en Senegal, ya que se cumplían dos años de la inauguración del club y, por tanto, de la llegada de este deporte al país africano. Trabajadores, jugadores del torneo, equipo directivo y amigos se dieron cita al finalizar los encuentros para celebrar esta importantísima efeméride.
El Saly Open supone la penúltima parada del International Padel Experience by Madison, único circuito internacional de pádel amateur, que concluirá a próxima semana con el Málaga Open y el Master Final de campeones de la temporada.

The fall of the sun, and consequent temperatures drop, meant the start of this new padel party with the celebration of the women’s semifinals, in addition to the entry to the men’s category competition, who jumped to the court to face in the eighth finals and get into this way in the final rounds of the competition.
The masculine category defined the couples that continue in the competition after beating their opponents on the courts, in front of the eyes of a large number of fans and friends, who attended as an audience and did not hesitate to cheer each point as if a final point it was.
On the other hand, in the women’s category the two semifinals took place, which once again showed the dedication and the desire to achieve the victory of the competitors, who left the skin to defend each point.
The first couple to sneak into the women’s final was Ingrid / Jeny, who defeated Elo / Stephan 6-3 / 6-1 in a match whose result did not do justice to the game matched on the court.
After them, it was Gwen / Melani who defeated Sylvie / Severine and signed a 6-4 / 6-1 result in the last match of the day.
This second day coincided with a very special day for the Padel Saly Club and for the sport of the racket in Senegal, since it was two years of the opening of the club and, therefore, the arrival of this sport in the African country. Workers, tournament players, management team and friends gathered at the end of the meetings to celebrate this important event.
The Saly Open is the penultimate stop of the International Padel Experience by Madison, the only international circuit of amateur padel, which will conclude next week with the Málaga Open and the Final Master of champions of the season.
