La dupla compuesta por Khaled Nagy-Seifalla Abousenna se hizo con el título de la categoría masculina A al superar en la final a la pareja formada por Jasper Ahrens-Mateus Barragana en 3 sets (5-7, 7-6 y 6-1). El International Padel Experience by Madison 2017 corona a los primeros ganadores del circuito.
La jornada comenzó con retraso debido a las malas condiciones meteorológicas. Al cesar un poco la lluvia, los jugadores de la categoría masculina A saltaron a la pista para disputar el triangular que permitía el acceso a la última plaza de las semifinales. El premio lo consiguió la pareja compuesta por Jasper Ahrens-Mateus Barragana al cosechar la victoria cómodamente en sus dos encuentros ante Jan May-Jonathan Menendez (6-2, 7-5) y ante Fran Gonzalez-Gabriel Melendez (6-4, 6-3).
Tras completarse el cuadro de semifinales, arrancó el asalto a la final de la categoría masculina A. La primera pareja en alcanzar la final del Berlin Open fue la formada por Khaled Nagy-Seifalla Abousenna tras doblegar a Francisco Correia-Pedro Roque por un apretado 6-4, 6-3. El segundo binomio en alcanzar la final del torneo fue una de las favoritas, Jasper Ahrens-Mateus Barragana al superar, no sin sudar la gota gorda, en 3 mangas a David Vien-Alexander Hillbricht (3-6, 6-2 y 6-4).
Por lo tanto, la final quedó configurada con las 4 mejores palas del torneo. La última fase del torneo tuvo lugar entre las inclemencias del tiempo. Viento, lluvia y por momentos nieve han acompañado la final del Berlin Open. A pesar de todas las incidencias meteorológicas, las dos parejas se pusieron el mono de trabajo para completar el “asalto al título“. La pareja que se llevó el título a sus vitrinas fue Khaled Nagy-Seifalla Abousenna que, tras no ceder ni un solo encuentro durante toda la competición superó en 3 sets a Jasper Ahrens-Mateus Barragana por 5-7, 7-6 y 6-1 en un vibrante encuentro en el que los campeones tuvieron que remontar el primer set en contra. Khaled Nagy-Seifalla Abousenna se hicieron con el título y con los premios correspondientes: una pala k3 de última generación por cortesía de Bullpadel, dos entradas para el Estrella Damm Master Finals y las 2 noches de hotel para el último torneo del año. Además de productos de Estrella Damm y de Bodegas de Alberto.
Por su parte, los subcampeones recibieron el paletero Bullpadel además de cervezas Innedit de Estrella Damm y vinos de Bodegas de Alberto.
Con esta victoria se puso el cierre definitivo a la primera parada del International Padel Experience by Madison. El circuito acaba de iniciar el camino de 2017 y hace las maletas para, en dos semanas, aterrizar en el Dublin Open del 5 al 7 de mayo.
