Si en la jornada del sábado fueron Ahrens y Goerke los que se hicieron con la victoria final en categoría masculina, en el día de ayer sería de nuevo Jasper Ahrens junto a Paula Ledesma los que se alzasen como flamantes campeones de la categoría mixta celebrada en el Padel Club International de Berlín, que ha vivido en su máxima expresión lo que representa albergar un torneo del International Padel Experience by Madison.
Bajo un ambiente excelente durante todo el fin de semana, la cuarta cita del circuito, patrocinado por Estrella Damm, disfrutó de un desenlace apasionante, en el que los vencedores impusieron su ley sin contemplaciones.
La dupla formada por Jasper Ahrens y Paula Ledesma accedió a la gran final de la categoría mixta tras solventar con superioridad y buen juego sus partidos frente a Rösler-González (7-5, 6-0), Soler-Sperling (6-0,6-0) y Frowein-Kölling (6-1,6-1).
La otra pareja finalista sería la compuesta por María Sánchez y Mateus Barragana, que de igual manera desplegaron un juego muy inteligente y compenetrado, logrando acceder al partido definitivo tras ganar todos sus encuentros, incluso un anticipo de la que después sería la final frente a Ahrens y Ledesma en el encuentro más emocionante e igualado de la jornada, que levantaría los aplausos de los presentes y concluiría con un tie break de infarto (6-7, 6-3 y 4-10).
La final sería de nuevo María Sánchez y Mateus Barragana frente a Jasper Ahrens y Paula Ledesma, en la que estos últimos se desquitarían de la derrota en la fase de grupos con un resultado de 7-5 y 6-2 que les otorgaría el título final.
Con los campeones en el primer peldaño del podio, el Berlin Open clausuró un excelente fin de semana de pádel en el Padel Club International Berlin, que ha vuelto a albergar de manera impecable el International Padel Experience by Madison.
