[:es]El International Padel Experience by Madison cerró su temporada con la disputa del Málaga Open, torneo que reunió hace un par de semanas a los mejores jugadores nacionales y locales junto con los campeones de las máximas categorías del resto de pruebas del International Padel Experience by Madison en un evento muy emocionante que tuvo lugar en las fantásticas instalaciones del Club Pádel Málaga Indoor.
Reina Antúnez y Natalia Bonet, se alzaron como flamantes campeones de la máxima categoría femenina del Málaga Open tras imponer su juego sin fisuras, contundente y compenetrado que les permitió derrocar a todos sus rivales sin ceder ni un solo set en la última cita del único circuito internacional que existe. En la final, Reina y Natalia demostraron su rol de favoritas ante una dupla local, Alma Díaz y Arantxa Oballe por un claro 6-1 y 6-0. Hoy nos cuentan de primera mano su paso por el IPE by Madison:
Pregunta: ¿Cuáles fueron vuestras sensaciones en el Málaga Open?
Respuesta (Reina): Fueron muy positivas. Las dos llegábamos a Málaga en un buen momento de forma. A medida que fue avanzando la jornada nos fuimos sintiendo más cómodas en la pista.
Pregunta: Ir con la vitola de campeón, ¿os genera mucha presión u os motiva para competir?
Respuesta (Natalia): Sin lugar a dudas, nos motiva muchísimo. Conocíamos el buen nivel de pádel que hay en Málaga. Además, el poder salir de la isla y jugar con gente diferente es algo que nos encanta. En Ibiza estamos algo limitadas en este sentido. Por esto, circuitos como el International Padel Experience by Madison le dan mucha vida al pádel.
Pregunta: ¿Cómo habéis visto el nivel de Málaga comparado con el de Ibiza? ¿Y el de los campeones de otras pruebas?
Respuesta (Natalia): En lo que a la categoría femenina se refiere, quizás nos esperábamos partidos algo más disputados. A excepción del primer partido que jugamos contra las chicas italianas, en el que disputamos un intenso choque, los demás no fueron tan complicados de resolver como nos habíamos imaginado. Lo que si es cierto es, que algunas de las chicas con las que jugamos ya las conocíamos y habían mejorado mucho, lo que es una buena señal.
Pregunta: ¿Qué valores destacáis del pádel como deporte?
Respuesta (Reina): Creemos que valores como el trabajo en equipo, el esfuerzo, el compromiso, la constancia y la superación describen a la perfección este deporte.
Pregunta: ¿Cuánto tiempo lleváis jugando juntas? ¿Cuántas veces jugáis a la semana o entrenáis?
Respuesta (Reina): En realidad, como pareja de juego, este ha sido el segundo torneo al que nos hemos inscrito. La verdad es que, jugar con Natalia es un gustazo. Nos compenetramos y complementamos muy bien en la pista. Yo suelo entrenar una o dos veces por semana. A eso le sumamos los tres o cuatro partidos que solemos organizar.
Pregunta: ¿Cómo valoráis el International Pádel Experience by Madison? Qué es lo que os lleváis del circuito?
Respuesta (Natalia): Muy positivamente. Como ya hemos dicho antes, se agradecen este tipo de circuitos a nivel amateur. Motiva mucho el poder jugar con gente de otros puntos de la península y de Europa. Te sirve para ponerte a prueba. Son muy enriquecedores.
Respuesta (Reina): Sin lugar a dudas, nos llevamos la experiencia pero, sobre todo, la gente que hemos conocido. El ambiente era estupendo. No se podía pedir más. Se aprecia el esfuerzo y el trabajo bien hecho realizado por la organización. Nos hemos sentido como en casa.
Pregunta: La expansión del pádel es imparable, ¿cuál creéis que es el secreto del éxito?
Respuesta (Natalia): El hecho de que sea un deporte social, divertido y que se puede practicar a cualquier edad. Es un deporte al que te enganchas con mucha facilidad.
Pregunta: ¿En 2017 os animaréis a más pruebas del IPE by Madison?
Respuesta (Reina): Por supuesto, después de la experiencia de este año y, si los compromisos laborales nos lo permiten, nos encantaría repetir las pruebas que hemos disputado este año y alguna más, ¡Le hemos cogido el gustillo al IPE by Madison!

Question: What were your feelings at the Malaga Open?
Answer (Reina): They were very positive. We both arrived in Malaga at a good time. As the day progressed, we felt more comfortable on the court.
Question: Go with the champagne glass, generates a lot of pressure or motivates you to compete?
Answer (Natalia): Without a doubt, it motivates us very much. We knew the good level of paddle in Malaga. Also, being able to leave the island and play with different people is something that we love. In Ibiza we are somewhat limited in this regard. For this reason, circuits like the International Padel Experience by Madison give life to the paddle.
Question: How did you see the level of Malaga compared to that of Ibiza? And the champions of other tests?
Answer (Natalia): As far as the female category is concerned, perhaps we expected more contested matches. With the exception of the first match we played against the Italian girls, in which we fought an intense clash, the others were not as complicated to solve as we had imagined. What if it is true is that some of the girls with whom we played and we knew them and had improved a lot, which is a good sign.
Question: What are the values of the paddle as a sport?
Answer (Reina): We believe that values such as teamwork, effort, commitment, perseverance and improvement describe this sport perfectly.
Question: How long have you been playing together? How many times do you play a week or train?
Answer (Reina): Actually, as a game partner, this has been the second tournament we have signed up for. The truth is that playing with Natalia is a pleasure. We understand each other and complement each other very well on the track. I usually train once or twice a week. To that we add the three or four parties that we usually organize.
Question: How do you rate the International Paddle Experience by Madison? What do you take from the circuit?
Answer (Natalia): Very positively. As we said before, we are grateful for this type of circuits at the amateur level. It motivates much to be able to play with people of other points of the peninsula and of Europe. It serves you to test yourself. They are very enriching.
Answer (Reina): Without a doubt, we take the experience but, above all, the people we have met. The atmosphere was great. You could not ask for more. We appreciate the effort and the well done work done by the organization. We felt at home.
Question: The expansion of the paddle is unstoppable, what do you think is the secret of success?
Answer (Natalia): The fact that it is a social sport, fun and that can be practiced at any age. It is a sport that you engage with very easily.
Question: Will you encourage more IPE by Madison in 2017?
Answer (Reina): Of course, after the experience of this year and, if the labor commitments allow us, we would love to repeat the tests we have played this year and some more, We have caught the tweak to IPE by Madison![:]
