El International Padel Experience by Madison: Alicante Open está a punto de comenzar. Del 17 al 19 de agosto el mejor circuito internacional de pádel amateur viajara a tierras valencianas para disputar la última cita de la gira por nuestro país. Alicante será un lugar especial para decir adiós al IPE, una ciudad llena de encanto con un fuerte atractivo turístico para quienes se desplacen a la costa mediterránea. Hoy os mostramos alguno de sus atractivos y os damos algunas ideas para poder disfrutar de esta joya del mediterráneo.

Pasear por la Explanada de España: La Explanada de España es uno de los puntos de encuentro más importantes de Alicante. Su suelo, formado por más de seis millones de teselas de colores, emulan las formas de las olas del mar. Las palmeras de este hermoso paseo nos ayudarán a disfrutar más cómodamente de los diferentes puestos de artesanía y de los diferentes artistas callejeros que se encuentran en este lugar.

Visitar el puerto de Alicante: Desde los tiempos de la antigua Cartago, Alicante ha vivido gracias a los productos del mar y a su comercio a través de las aguas del mediterráneo. Turistas y habitantes de la ciudad disfrutan paseando por sus muelles repletos de vida. El gran ambiente de esta zona se debe a los bares, los restaurantes, las tiendas y las zonas de ocio que hay en él.

Bañarse en las playas alicantinas: No se puede visitar Alicante en verano sin hacer una visita obligatoria a sus maravillosas playas. Este es uno de los mayores reclamos de la ciudad y sus playas se encuentran entre las mejores valoradas de nuestro país. La Albufera, la Playa de San Juan o El Postiguet son solo algunas de las paradas obligatorias en nuestra visita a Alicante.

Tumbarse en la sombra del Parque Canalejas: Esta zona verde es el parque más antiguo de Alicante. Gracias a unos imponentes ficus centenarios, los visitantes podrán disfrutar de este lugar cobijados del calor abrasador del mediterráneo. Además, este parque está repleto de estatuas de diferentes tipos. Leones y perros observarán a los paseantes con sus miradas de piedra.

Explora el Castillo de Santa Bárbara: Es el monumento más emblemático de la ciudad. Desde las alturas, domina imponente toda Alicante coronando la cima de Benacantil. Esta fortaleza del siglo IX fue un lugar de vital importancia estratégica en la lucha con los cristianos. Hoy en día se puede visitar, accediendo a él en coche, andando o en ascensor.

The International Padel Experience by Madison: Alicante Open is about to begin. From 17 to 19 August, the best international circuit of amateur padel will travel to Valencia to play the last date of the tour of our country. Alicante will be a special place to say goodbye to the IPE, a city full of charm with a strong tourist attraction for those who travel to the Mediterranean coast. Today we show you some of its attractions and we give you some ideas to enjoy this jewel of the Mediterranean. 

Strolling along the Explanada de España: The Explanada de España is one of the most important meeting points of Alicante. Its soil, formed by more than six million colored tiles, emulates the shapes of the waves of the sea. The palm trees of this beautiful walk will help us to enjoy more comfortably the different craft stalls and the different street artists that are in this place. 

Visit the port of Alicante: Since the times of ancient Carthage, Alicante has lived thanks to the products of the sea and its trade through the waters of the Mediterranean. Tourists and city dwellers enjoy walking along its quays full of life. The great atmosphere of this area is due to the bars, restaurants, shops and leisure areas in it. 

Bathing in the Alicante beaches: You can not visit Alicante in summer without making a mandatory visit to its wonderful beaches. This is one of the biggest claims of the city and its beaches are among the best valued in our country. La Albufera, Playa de San Juan or El Postiguet are just some of the obligatory stops on our visit to Alicante.

Explore Santa Bárbara Castle: It is the most emblematic monument of the city. From the heights, dominates imposing all Alicante crowning the top of Benacantil. This 9th century fortress was a place of vital strategic importance in the struggle with Christians. Today you can visit, accessing it by car, on foot or by lift.
