Cerradas las inscripciones y hechos los cuadros para la primera gran cita del año, el International Padel Experience by Madison da comienzo a la celebración de su décimo aniversario batiendo récords en Palencia, con más de 175 parejas inscritas que disfrutarán del mejor pádel amateur internacional.

Desde hoy hasta el 30 de mayo el debutante P90 Sport Club TodoPadel, considerado el centro deportivo de referencia de la provincia, tomará las riendas del circuito por primera vez en la historia y, además, será la primera parada nacional del curso.

Durante diez días consecutivos los más de 350 participantes podrán disfrutar de las 14 pistas indoor que tiene el club para la práctica de este deporte, con todas las medidas sanitarias adecuadas para celebrar el torneo, en sus modernas instalaciones.

Iván González, director deportivo del club, nos cuenta que la escuela P90 Sport fue fundada hace ocho años y, a través de la formación y la constancia, consiguieron tener sus propias instalaciones, con la motivación de “poder seguir creciendo y disfrutando de este deporte que tanto nos gusta.

Convertidos en el centro de referencia deportiva en Palencia, el club tiene una trayectoria amplia basada en el deporte de pala donde a través del descubrimiento del pádel amateur, pasaron de “disfrutarlo a trabajar en ello.

El club dispone de escuela de pádel donde formarse. Iván nos comenta que “el pádel es un deporte para todas las edades, pero también es un deporte técnico y estratégico, por ello, el estar en clases permite mejorar y aprender a jugar.” Y anima a todos a formar parte de este deporte, ya que como dicen en el club “jugar bien, siempre es más divertido”.

En referencia a su debut en el IPE by Madison 2021, el director deportivo nos cuenta que “lo primero que nos llamó la atención es el circuito en sí, un torneo que se celebra en muchísimos países, con un máster final y buenos premios. Es un torneo con vida propia que esperemos que se celebre muchos años más.

Esa proyección del pádel amateur y la acogida internacional del torneo “es algo que ya sabíamos, el pádel es un deporte como quien dice nuevo, va a tener mucho tirón al ser tan social y divertido, estamos muy contentos con la proyección que está teniendo y esperemos que siga creciendo.

De ahí que sus expectativas para este primer torneo “están claras. Queremos que la gente juegue, que se lo pase bien, que compita y, en definitiva, que la gente sea feliz desarrollando una actividad tan divertida como es el pádel.

Con todo preparado, el P90 Sport abre hoy sus puertas para recibir “con los brazos abiertos” a los más de 350 jugadores que acudirán a la cita con representación tanto del territorio regional como nacional.
