Una de las características diferenciales del IPE by Madison es el trato cercano que se ofrece a todos los participantes, más allá de la mezcla existente entre deporte y turismo. Para acercaros de primera mano la experiencia, hablamos con los campeones del último torneo en la categoría masculina A, Nicoló y Tommaso, que nos trasladaron sus sensaciones en el campeonato y lo que significó para ellos poder ganarlo.
Los hermanos Cotto recorrieron los más de 200 km que separan su ciudad natal, Milán, de Vicenza, localidad en la que se jugó el segundo episodio de la temporada. La pareja quedó muy satisfecha con el fin de semana que pasaron «El torneo que disputamos en Vicenza fue espectacular. Había un ambiente maravilloso, una gran organización y una gran bienvenida a la gente de fuera«.
El pádel es un deporte joven que crece poco a poco, cada vez más gente se junta en torno a una raqueta y el nivel de los jugadores no deja de crecer «Somos nuevos en los torneos de pádel, así que nos interesaba darnos cuenta de nuestro nivel de juego y nivel de pádel italiano en general. Obviamente creíamos en nosotros mismos pero no sabíamos si podríamos ganar» y añadían «comenzamos a jugar al pádel recientemente, después del verano de 2017, veníamos de toda una vida jugando al tenis. Siempre estuvimos muy comprometidos con el deporte que habíamos empezado a practicar un par de veces por semana y jugando partidos durante los fines de semana«.
Los hermanos Cotto destacan la experiencia vivida en el Vicenza Open «El International Padel Experience by Madison es una gran cita. Te sientes parte de un proyecto muy ambicioso«. Cuestionados por su presencia en el Máster Final de Elvas, los jugadores nos transmitieron sus sensaciones «no esperábamos un premio por ganar, por lo que para Nicoló y para mi será una bonita experiencia que reúna deporte y objetivos personales«.
Nos despedimos de Tommaso y Nicoló preguntándoles por otra de las características diferenciales del circuito, la internacionalidad y el trasladar el pádel a muchas partes del mundo, algo que para la pareja es muy importante «El pádel para nosotros es una vía para practicar deporte y pasar tiempo juntos. No hay nada mejor que hacer deporte y un viaje por el pádel para conseguir nuestros objetivos«.
En apenas unos días, el International Padel Experience by Madison vuelve a Italia, concretamente a Siracusa para disputar la tercera prueba del circuito.

One of the differentials characteristics of the IPE by Madison is the close deal that is offered to all of the participants, beyond the existing mix between sport and turism. We obviously believed in ourselves but we did not know if we could win in advance» and they added «We started playing padel recently, after 2017 summer in september, coming for a life-time playing tennis. We got so engaged into the sport that we started practicing a couple of times a week, and playing matches during weekends«.
Cotto’s brothers emphasize the lived experience «Madison international padel experience is just great. You feel being part of a very ambitious event» Asked about their experience in the Final Master of Elvas the players transmitted their sensations «We did not expect such a winning prize, so for both of us (my Brother Nicolò and myself) it will be a very nice experience, both sport and personal sides«.
