[:es]El International Padel Experience by Madison, patrocinado por Estrella Damm, hará su séptima parada en Ámsterdam, del 5 al 7 de Agosto.
El Open Ámsterdam tendrá lugar en el Play Padel club, el primer club de pádel de los Países Bajos dirigido a los deportes y a la promoción de la raqueta.
Para todos aquellos que han elegido desplazarse a la ciudad holandesa y disfrutar de esta manera del único circuito internacional de pádel amateur, les ofrecemos los lugares indispensables que no se podrán perder:
- Canales: los canales que recorren Ámsterdam son uno de los rasgos característicos de la ciudad, que es conocida como la Venecia del norte. Con más de 75 km y 1000 puentes hacen de estos canales un atractivo perfecto para conocer la ciudad paseando. Ubicadas en los canales, las casas flotantes suponen un atractivo añadido a los turistas que pasean por la zona.
- Plaza Dam: considerada el corazón de Ámsterdam, es la plaza principal de Ámsterdam y en torno a la cual creció la ciudad. En ella podréis encontrar el Monumento Nacional, con forma de obelisco, el Palacio Real, la iglesia Nieuwe Kerk y el museo de Madame Tussauds.
- Barrio Rojo: uno de los barrios más singulares y turísticos de la ciudad, donde podréis pasear por sus calles iluminadas con luces de neón. Dentro de este famoso barrio se encuentra la iglesia Oude Kerk.
- Oude Kerk o Iglesia Vieja: se trata del edificio con más antigüedad de la ciudad. Esta basílica gótica fue construida en 1302 y aún conserva grandes tesoros como las vidrieras policromadas, su gran techo de madera o el gran órgano que alberga en su interior. Está dedicada al patrón de la ciudad, San Nicolás.
- Bloemenmarket o Mercado de las Flores: una de las zonas favoritas de todos los turistas y de los propios residentes de la ciudad. Este mercado de flores funciona desde 1862 y en él podréis encontrar la flor más característica de Holanda, los tulipanes. Es una tradición que los turistas acudan al mercado para llevarse
como souvenir un bulbo de tulipán.
- Begijnhof: Este conjunto de casas se construyó con el fin de albergar a las “beguinas”, una hermandad femenina. En este remanso de paz se puede encontrar la casa más antigua de Ámsterdam, que todavía conserva su fachada de madera.
- Plaza Spui: La plaza Spui es conocida no solo por ser el lugar donde nació el movimiento “provo”, sino por los mercadillos de arte que se colocan en la plaza semanalmente para hacer las delicias de aquellos amantes de la literatura y de las obras artísticas. Hace años, se trataba de un terreno inundado que marcaba el final de la ciudad y hoy es una plaza tranquila y acogedora, llena de tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes.

The Amsterdam Open will be held at Play Padel club, the first paddle club of the Netherlands directed to sports and the promotion of the racket.

1-Channels: the channels that run through Amsterdam is one of the characteristic features of the city, which is known as the Venice of the North.
