Hoy es el turno de viajar hasta Valladolid, capital castellanoleonesa que albergó de forma sobresaliente la quinta cita del IPE by Madison 2016. Así fue la crónica final:

La veteranía primó sobre la juventud. Ni siquiera tres partidos consecutivos frenaron a Óscar Arribas y Alberto Mateo, que se proclamaron campeones del Valladolid Open, primera parada en España del International Padel Experience by Madison, tras superar en la gran final a Rafel Vázquez y Roberto San Juan (7-5 y 6-4). La experiencia impuso su ley sobre la central del Club Raqueta en un duelo vibrante, sin tregua, que se saldó con el triunfo de un dúo, que comenzó su aventura en el torneo a las 9.00 horas y que la concluyó diez horas más tarde con el entorchado en su paletero.

El triunfo en el Valladolid Open otorga a Óscar Arribas la plaza para disputar el último torneo del circuito, patrocinado por Estrella Damm, en Reserva del Higuerón, además de material de Bullpadel, Gripping Gel, vino de la Bodega De Alberto y dos entradas para ver en directo el Máster de World Padel Tour.

En el resto de categorías los vencedores fueron Agustín Bastard y Manuel Quina, que ganaron en la competición C masculina a Óscar Rodríguez y Santiago San José; Jaime Cadenas y Roberto González, que superaron en el torneo B masculino a Andrés del Pozo y Medardo Acebes (6-2 y 6-3); y Andrea Gonzales y Pilar Pino, que obtuvieron el máximo galardón en la prueba B femenina tras doblegar a Carmen Ferrero y Arancha de Pedro (6-4 y 6-3).
