[:es]Barcelona es sin duda una de las ciudades españolas donde más afición por el pádel existe. Es por ello, que el International Padel Experience by Madison 2016 no podía dejar que en su largo y completo calendario faltase una cita en la ciudad condal. Hoy volvemos al mes de septiembre de 2016 para revivir el gran torneo que vivimos en Barcelona. Así fue la crónica final:

Ante un grandísimo ambiente de pádel, el club catalán Augusta Padel se llenó para disfrutar de los partidos finales del torneo, dejando latente el buen momento que vive el deporte de la pala en la ciudad condal. La pareja formada por Moi Mimbrero y Rafa Cobos cerró el torneo sin ceder ni un solo set ante Nacho Centell y Roger Ricomá, en un en partido sin pausa, con puntos espectaculares y una lucha sobre la pista que levantó a los espectadores presentes. En el primer set, Moi y Rafa no dieron opción a sus rivales con un juego de control y ataque. Ya en el segundo, Nacho y Roger intentaron dar la vuelta al marcador con una estrategia más ofensiva, pero no fue suficiente y acabaron cediendo el encuentro(6-3 y 6-2).

El triunfo en el Barcelona Open otorgaba a Mimbrero y Rafa la plaza para disputar el último torneo del circuito, patrocinado por Estrella Damm, en Reserva del Higuerón, además de material de Bullpadel, Gripping Gel, y dos entradas para ver en directo el Máster de World Padel Tour.

Idéntico premio se llevaron las campeonas absolutas del torneo, Silvia Borges y Verónica Narváez, quienes doblegaron en el desenlace a Jitka Stenclova y Marita Montagut. El choque se resolvió en dos mangas que no tuvieron desperdicio. Las vencedoras marcaron el camino de la victoria en el primer acto (6-1) con un juego potente y seguro, fiel a su genial campeonato. De la misma manera y sin dar opciones a sus rivales, Silvia y Verónica sentenciaron el choque con otro 6-1 que las consagraba como campeonas del Barcelona Open.2

En el resto de categorías los vencedores fueron Sergi González y Rafa Pérez, que ganaron en la competición B masculina a Felipe Pinto y Dani González (6-4 y 6-2); Andrés Vela y Alberto Fernández se coronaron en la C masculina al derrotar a Froilán Rivas y Ricardo Fernández (6-2 y 6-2) y Esther Morales y Cynthia, que obtuvieron el máximo galardón en la prueba B femenina tras doblegar a Arantxa García y Maite Rodríguez en dos mangas impecables de las ganadoras (6-0 Y 6-0).
