[:es]El International Padel Experience by Madison, único circuito internacional de pádel amateur, llega por primera vez a Rusia. Este fin de semana se celebrará en la ciudad de Voronezh la decimosegunda parada del circuito.

El torneo se celebrará del 1 al 3 de septiembre en el Padel Club Voronezh y contará con 20 parejas de categorías masculina y femenina que lucharán por alzarse con la primera victoria del International Padel Experience by Madison en Rusia.

Para conocer un poco más este torneo y la sede que lo acogerá, hemos hablado con Christian Tarruella Mejias, Director Padel Club Voronezh.

Buenos días Christian, gracias por atendernos a pocas horas del inicio del torneo.¿Cuánto tiempo lleváis con este club?

El pasado 8 de Agosto celebramos el tercer cumpleaños de la inauguración oficial del Club

¿Qué servicios e instalaciones ofrecéis a los usuarios del Club?

2 pistas de Padel indoor y 2 exteriores

1 pista de voley-playa y 1 indoor

Disponemos de un hotel con 8 apartamentos con zona de sauna, piscina de contraste con agua fría y zona de relax

Gran zona ajardinada con pista para correr/patinar , jardín de infancia con arena, toboganes columpios… 6 casas de madera para celebraciones, barbacoa, zonas de césped, tumbonas para tomar el sol y piscina exterior desmontable.

Edificio con calefacción par el Padel indoor y Voley , tienda, recepción y zona de relax. Vestuarios y lavabos.

¿Cuántos socios o usuarios hacen uso de vuestras instalaciones?

A día de hoy tenemos cerca de 200 socios registrados de los cuales 50 juegan regularmente al padel. Durante dos años invitamos a jugar gratis a los habitantes de la ciudad que se han acercado a probar este deporte.

¿Cuál es el perfil del jugador de pádel en Rusia?

Jugador de nivel medio, entre 30-40 años, juega una o dos veces a la semana, sobretodo fin de semana, viene a pasar la tarde con la familia y jugar con con los amigos 2 o 3 horas.

Jugador avanzado, 25-35 años, suele venir solo dos, tres y hasta cuatro días a la semana. Incluso ya hay quien diariamente.

¿Cómo está siendo la evolución del pádel en el país?

Muy lenta, debido a la dificultad de los alquileres y el elevado coste de los aranceles de importación y transporte de las de las pistas.

¿Por qué decidisteis sumaros al International Padel Experience by Madison?

Porque es un circuito popular en el mundo del Padel y esperamos que año tras año se animen jugadores internacionales a visitar Rusia y jugar al Padel aquí. Para que nuestros jugadores a visiten otros países y jueguen con otra gente allí y para despertar a otras asociaciones y administraciones rusas y se abran nuevos clubes aquí.

¿Qué es lo que más os gusta de este circuito?

Creo que lo mas interesante es posibilidad de viajar a otros países , conocer gente nueva y compartir una misma afición.

¿Ha generado expectación el Open?

En Voronezh están todos pendientes de cuantos jugadores extranjeros van a venir y de verlos jugar.

Nuestros socios están eufóricos pensando que subirán de categoría regional o nacional a «internacional»

¿Qué planes de futuro tenéis para vuestro club?

El Padel Club Voronezh siempre sera la cuna del Padel en Rusia, por eso nuestra intención es ampliar las instalaciones hoteleras, construir más pistas de Padel, formar entrenadores y crear una escuela donde vengan a aprender a jugar al Padel desde otras regiones de Rusia.

Ahora llevamos la gestión de la Federacion Deportiva y intentamos introducirlo en otras provincias a través de las asociaciones de tenis.
[:en]The International Padel Experience by Madison, the only amateur paddle international circuit, arrives for the first time in Russia. This weekend will be held in the city of Voronezh the twelfth stop of the circuit.

The tournament will be held from September 1st to 3rd at the Voronezh Padel Club and will feature 20 male and female categories that will fight to win the first Padel Experience by Madison International in Russia.

To know more about this tournament and the headquater that will host it, we have spoken with Christian Tarruella Mejias, Padel Club Voronezh’s Manager.

Good morning Christian, thank you for speak with us within hours of the start of the tournament. How long have you been with this club?

Last August 8th we celebrated the third birthday of the official opening of the Club

What services and facilities do you offer to Club members?

2 indoor and 2 outdoor paddle courts

1 beach volleyball court and 1 indoor

We have a hotel with 8 apartments with sauna area, contrast pool with cold water and relaxation area

Large garden area with running / skating rink, kindergarten with sand, slides swings … 6 wooden houses for celebrations, barbecue, lawn areas, sun loungers and removable outdoor pool.

Building with heating for the indoor Padel and Voley, shop, reception and relaxation area. Changing rooms and toilets.

How many partners or users make use of your facilities?

To date we have about 200 registered members, of whom 50 regularly play the paddle. For two years we invited to play for free the inhabitants of the city who have come to try this sport.

What is the profile of the paddle player in Russia?

Mid-level player, between 30-40 years, play once or twice a week, especially on weekend, come to spend the afternoon with family and play with friends 2 or 3 hours.

Advanced player, 25-35 years, usually comes only two, three and up to four days a week. Even there are those who daily.

How is the evolution of the paddle in the country?

Very slow, due to the difficulty of rents and the high cost of import and transport tariffs on the runways.

Why did you decide to join the International Padel Experience by Madison?

Because it is a popular circuit in the Padel world and we hope that year after year international players will be encouraged to visit Russia and play Padel here. For our players to visit other countries and play with other people there and to wake up other Russian associations and administrations and open new clubs here.

What do you like about this circuit?

I think the most interesting thing is the possibility of traveling to other countries, meeting new people and sharing the same hobby.

Did the Open have an expectation?

In Voronezh they are all aware of how many foreign players are going to come and watch them play.

Our partners are euphoric thinking that they will rise from regional or national to «international»

What future plans do you have for your club?

The Padel Club Voronezh will always be the cradle of Padel in Russia, so our intention is to expand the hotel facilities, build more Padel tracks, train coaches and create a school where they come to learn to play Padel from other regions of Russia.

Now we manage the Sports Federation and try to introduce it in other provinces through the tennis associations.
